Problem We Identified
The client had expertise but lacked visibility in media channels, positioned in Quadrant 3 of our EPIC Framework (High Credibility, Low Visibility).
We began by identifying a visibility gap in the client’s media presence. Although they had deep expertise in SaaS risk management, their LinkedIn presence didn’t reflect that authority in a way that appealed to journalists or media outlets. Our audit showed they had strong offline credibility but hadn’t been featured in any publications — a clear case of high credibility but low visibility.
To address this, we worked with the client to define a more media-friendly content angle, focusing on SaaS data privacy and compliance risks — a topic gaining traction in the press. We helped them articulate clear, quote-ready insights and simplified language that made their expertise more accessible to non-technical audiences.
We then launched a content campaign covering timely issues like data compliance and SaaS security, written with journalist-friendly headlines and takeaways. At the same time, we tagged relevant journalists and media outlets, engaged with their content, and used targeted hashtags to increase discovery.
Through consistent engagement and thoughtful content, the client began to build visibility among media professionals. When features were published, we repurposed them into LinkedIn posts with pull quotes and summaries, tagging the authors to extend reach and credibility.
Within 45 days, this approach led to two media features, over 1,800 engagements on LinkedIn related to those posts, and 16 inbound messages from journalists, potential partners, and event organizers — a strong signal that their authority was now being seen and recognized.
